This promotional foil card, along with other Tapeworm-themed cards, was included in the pink box edition of Tapeworm, which was exclusive to Kickstarter. Black Proglottid was unlocked by reaching a financial stretch goal of $400,000 for the campaign.
During the Four Souls: Requiem campaign, all previously released promo cards were digitally remastered with second edition templates and updated wording for clarity and consistency. These cards were never printed.
